In response to this mandate, the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) Southern VA chapter was established with the goal of building the capacity of K-12 teachers in Southern Virginia to deliver quality CS education by providing professional development and continuing education opportunities . This chapter is supported by CodeVA, a statewide K-12 CS advocacy organization, Microsoft, the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research, and Mid-Atlantic Broadband (MBC).

Members of the education community and business community are all invited to join the chapter. This collaboration has the power to transform our region![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” color_style=”light” remove_padding=”no-padding-vc-row” bg_type=”bg_color” bg_color_value=”#7a7a7a”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”60px”][vc_separator el_width=”70″][vc_column_text]
