Learn what AI is, what it can and cannot do, and how you can begin using it in your business.
Explore practical ways AI can help with everyday business tasks like brainstorming, customer communication, marketing, research, planning, and organizing information.
Through live demonstrations, you’ll see how to give AI useful instructions, improve its responses, check its work, and protect private business and customer information.
You’ll also choose one task from your own business or business idea and identify a simple way to test AI for that task.
No prior AI experience is needed. You do not need an AI account or device to participate, but you are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet to follow along.

AI for Business: Practical Prompting for Everyday Work

Learn how to write clearer, more effective prompts and get more useful and reliable results from AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot.
This hands-on session covers a simple structure for telling AI what you need, providing the right context, and guiding it when the first response misses the mark. You’ll practice improving prompts, asking for revisions, and checking AI-generated work for accuracy and usefulness.
During the session, you’ll create at least one prompt for a real task from your own work and learn how to turn it into a template you can use again.
You’ll also learn what information to avoid sharing with AI and simple ways to review AI-generated work before using it.
No advanced AI experience is needed.

AI For Business: From Chatbot to Workflow – Building Repeatable AI Systems

This hands-on workshop will show you how to turn recurring tasks into AI-supported workflows for things like customer communication, marketing, documentation, event planning, reporting, training, and administrative work.
You’ll learn how to map a task from start to finish, create reusable prompts and instructions, add reference materials and templates, and build in steps to check the quality and accuracy of AI-generated work.
During the workshop, you’ll choose one recurring task from your own work and begin building a repeatable AI workflow you can test and improve.
An AI account is required for hands-on participation. Basic experience using AI and writing prompts is helpful, but you do not need to have attended a previous AI For Business Workshop

AI For Business: AI For Marketing, Outreach, & Contecnt Creation

During the session, you’ll learn how to give AI clear instructions about your brand, audience, goals, and tone so the content it creates is more useful and sounds more like your business. You’ll also practice turning one idea into content for different channels and learn how to review AI-generated work for accuracy, quality, and brand fit.
You’ll work on marketing or outreach content for your own business and leave with drafts, reusable instructions, and a process you can continue using.
An AI account is required for participation.
