Interest Meetings for Black & Minority Business Owners & Community Members

As part of the Southern Virginia Regional Entrepreneurship Initiative, the SOVA Innovation Hub and Longwood University are co-hosting a series of interest meetings to ensure input from Black people and other people of color is included and prioritized in the development of new entrepreneurship training and related supports for small businesses.

If you are a Black or minority business owner, community leader, or potential future entrepreneur, we invite you to come share your ideas for improving the support system for Black and minority owned businesses.

This initiative is also funded in part by the Longwood SBDC, which is part of the Virginia SBDC and funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, George Mason University, and local host institutions. The Virginia SBDC is nationally accredited by America’s SBDC.
